We have received an urgent notice from our satellite partner...
Our satellite provider has detected a potential issue with the transponder that the satellite service is currently operating on. In order to avoid the possibility of any interruption of service, at midnight tonight (Wednesday, December 15, 2004) satellite service is being moved to another frequency on the AMC-6 satellite. We apologize for the short notice, but all of the end-users will need to make a change to their frequency setting in order to continue surfing using the satellite. Instructions are printed below, will be posted to the http://www.satnow.net/ site, and a PDF file with the instructions is available to download.
The following simple steps are all that need to be performed:
- Double click the round satellite icon located in the system tray to open the Setup4PC application.
- Click the Transponder Management button.
- Change the Start and End Frequency from 12100 to 11860 located in the Search & Scan section to the right.
- In the Transponder section to the left, double click on the 12100 MHz: H/L line to open the Edit Transponder window.
- Change the Transponder from 12100 to 11860.
- Click the Tune button located at the bottom of the window and the Signal Quality will then return.
- Click the OK button to close the Edit Transponder window.

- Click the Close button to exit the Setup4PC application
