We have just received the following notification from our satellite service partner regarding an upcoming transponder change that will affect customers who use the WidoSAT satellite Internet service and will require changing a setting in the satellite software...
Please be advised there will be a Transponder change Wednesday, November 29[sic], 2005 at 12:00 a.m. EST.
We do apologize for the short notice of the change for we have just found out this needed to be made. We have provided you with the supported documentation below to help you support your customers.....
Again, we do apologize for the change and we thank you for your continued business.
According to the notice above from our satellite service partner (Note: The date provided in their notice is incorrect. Corrected information follows.), this new transponder change is scheduled to take effect, 12:00 AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2005 EST (Midnight, Tuesday night/Wednesday morning). Please make the required setting change sometime after that time.

A summary of the required changes is below:
- When making changes to the settings in the B2C2 software you must first double click on the green (or red) satellite signal icon located in your task bar in the lower right hand corner of your desktop.
- Click on the Transponder Management button.
- Select 12060 MHz : H/L in the Transponder box.
- Click on the Edit button.
- The only changes will be made to "Transponder" in the Transponder Settings.
- The default setting for the Transponder is set to 12060. You will need to change the Transponder to 12055.
- Once these changes are made, click ok and your settings will be properly set.
- (Only) If the changes did not take place immediately click on the Status button in your Setup4PC window.
- A Transponder Status window should appear
- Above the Transponder Settings there should be a drop down box which Current Settings should be showing.
- Click on the down arrow next to Current Settings and select Manual Settings as shown in Figure 1.6 above.
- Once you have selected Manual Settings the box next to Transponder should be white
- At this time you can change the 12060 to 12055
- You can now close all of the windows.
